Sustainable manufacturing
JPG’s operations have been verified as a low emissions company by Footprint, a carbon accounting firm that operates under the Australian Governments Climate Active Group. We are currently working towards net zero for the direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions within our control.
We believe that producers need to change their behaviour to implement more sustainable practices to bring about lasting change. We have implemented solar energy and a waste recycling program that allows us to recycle plastics that cannot go to curb side recycling, reducing our landfill waste by over more than half.
We are currently working with our suppliers to source more environmentally friendly products, providing a recycled paper range and completely removing all chemicals and PVC plastics from our supply chain. All our packaging is either recycled or recyclable material, to ensure that the environmental burden from print does not pass onto you.
